Blueberry Lane Pottery
I started working in clay when I was in high school.  I was lucky to go to a public school that had a ceramic studio and dedicated ceramic teacher.  I couldn’t wait to escape to the clay studio every day.  I spent as much time there as possible.  I continued working in clay through most of college although I did not major in art.  My work in clay stopped for nearly 20 years after college.  After a successful run in the nonprofit business world, I returned to clay full time in 2003.  Since then, I have been fortunate to work and study with many established and renowned clay artists including Gay Smith, Syd Carpenter, Warren Mather, Carole Ann Fer and Cynthia Bringle.

The slide show on this page shows images from the summer of 2008.  This was the first year that Blueberry Lane Pottery was part of the Artist Trap Shed program on MacMillan Pier in Provincetown, Massachusetts.  The shed was a working studio and gallery and several times a week I would do demonstrations in front of the shed.  There are images from the demonstrations and in addition there are images from a few of the many glaze kiln firings in Truro.

Come visit Blueberry Lane Pottery next summer on the pier!
Paul teaches at Truro Center for the Arts at Castle Hill. Private lessons are also available at the Blueberry Lane Studio.
